Rectangular "Singing Bird " Cage by Karl Giersbaum

The restoration started with the usual trial which you can see in the video below
When I opened the instrument I found several springs were dislocated and several of the bird controls were not even in the right locations. Almost as if the cage had been opened and not reassembled correctly??
Also the whistle slide was seized, bellows leaking, song cam lever seized and bent etc. So a complete disable, Clean, repair, and lube was done.
