No collection is complete without a STEINWAY Reproducing Grand and this grand piano is very exceptional in many ways.
The Louis XV style case ( typical curved legs and rocaille sculptures ) gives the instrument a unique touch of French classy elegance. In walnut wood, Length, 5ft 7inch (170cm).
Aucune collection n'est complète sans un piano à queue STEINWAY 'reproducteur' et celui-ci est tout-à-fait exceptionnel à bien des égards.
Le style Louis XV de son meuble ( pieds galbés et sculptures de rocailles caractéristiques ) lui donne une touche unique d'élégance classique française. En bois de noyer. Longueur 1,70m.
This piano has been rebuilt about 8 years ago :
*Original reconditioned wippens
*Refinished sound board (sound board is in excellent condition.)
*New damper felt
*New Steinway NY hammers, shanks and flanges
*Reguilded plate
*Finished cabinet in satin walnut

Usually the Steinway reproducing pianos used the Duo-Art system, but this instrument has the Ampico Reproducing player system.
The player was rebuilt about 15 years ago and playing. The seller says though there are some hoses off and he would say it plays at about 70% of it's full potential. Nickelodeon Co. (TGCNC) is able with no problem to bring this instrument back to it's full playing potential if you wish.
D'habitude les Steinway "reproducteurs" utilisent le système Duo-art, mais cet instrument fonctionne avec un mécanisme de jeu automatique Ampico.
Ce mécanisme a été reconstruit il y a une quinzaine d'années et est en état de marche ; d'après le vendeur il y a pourtant quelques tuyaux déconnectés, ce qui ferait jouer l'instrument à seulement 70% de son potentiel environ. NickelodeonCo (TGCNC) se ferait un plaisir de rendre à cet instrument tout son potentiel si vous le désirez.
