UNIVERSAL PLAYER PIANO KIT.
This is a kit that was apparently Made by a company called Min-A Matic, Absecon N.J. USA. It was purchased at a Stanfield Auction a few Years ago. It contains everything except a vacuum pump to make "Any Piano" into a player piano.
The "Stack" is a simple frame which is completely adjustable so the pneumatic can be located to fit you keyboard, as this stack is intended to be mounted below the keybed. Then simply mark the location of the keys and drill a hole for a push rod to go from the player stack to the bottom of the piano key.
The "Valves" are an extremely well made "unit style" valve and can be configured in several ways. The pouch is a well designed and durable rubber dia fram, All parts are percussion made metal as you can see from the pictures below.
The Spool Frame. is nice and small and can be located easily even in a small apartment style piano. It also has all of the features such as "Automatic Re-roll" Auto Repeat, Single play, Shutoff, Volume control. Tempo control etc.
Expression Pneumatics. The kit comes with 4 pneumatic, Two have double valves for the Sustain pedal and Mandolin or Honkey Tonk bar (Not included but available from Player care) and the two single pneumatics could be for soft bass and treble.
All parts are easliy shipped anywhere in the world in well made heavy cardboard boxes. The only item NOT included is a vacuum motor and these are available from "Player Care" in the USA at www.player-care.com
